SacMag Mini Cakes!

TFCS's first magazine appearance has arrived!

A few months ago, I created a variety of mini cakes for a wedding photo shot.  Local event planners Nouvelle Roux were shooting a photo spread for "Our Wedding" magazine and asked me to contribute miniature wedding cakes for their design.  I gladly accepted the request, of course.  Sacramento Magazine's "Our Wedding" fall/winter issue is in stores NOW!  Go check out the beautiful landscape Nouvelle Roux created!  I am very thankful for this opportunity and excited about the photos they captured of my designs.

Weekend Round Up.

Fondant covered wedding cake.  Simple and modern, yet one of my favorites of the bunch.

Spiderman birthday cake.  Covered in fondant and piped with black royal icing.

Although the classic cake is not typically my style, I think it turned out very elegant.

All of the roses were hand-made out of sugar paste.  Covered in chocolate fondant, with a white chocolate fondant drape.
