Online Bake Sale for Japan

On April 1-2, an online bake sale was held in Sacramento to raise money for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. The auction was made possible by local food blogger Catherine Enfield. Her blog,, covers restaurant reviews, recipes, and food events. With donations from local bakers, restaurants and fellow food bloggers, $3,834.00 was raised and donated to ShelterBox to provide shelter in disaster areas.

The Frosted Cake Shop's donation was one of our carved baseball cap cakes. The winning bid went to the Laguna Youth Baseball Major Padres and will bear their logo. Now that baseball season is here, order your own baseball cap cake with your favorite team logo.
